 Membership Information

Welcome to the community! To become a member of Ayin L'Tzion Zichron Yisroel Congregation and support our shul's efforts, please become a member now. There are three membership types:

Full Member

This membership entitles all members of an immediate family* to receive aliyot & kibbudim, as well as high holiday tickets, use of the facilities for simchas and voting rights at the Annual General Meeting.

Single Member

This membership type is for a single person and entitles the member to receive aliyot & kibbudim, as well as a high holiday ticket, use of the facitiies for simchas and voting rights at the Annual General Meeting. 

Associate Member

This membership type entitles the members to receive aliyot & kibbudim at the shul.
This membership is for those who maintain memberships at other synagogues, but attend our shul from time to time.

 

* “Immediate family” means husband, wife and unmarried, custodial children under the age of 25 all residing in same home. “Immediate family” also includes custodial children under the age of 25 who are (1) full time students in an accredited institution or university or (2) full time residents in an accredited long term health care facility.

Members must be in good standing to receive benefits of membership. A member who ceases to be a continuing member in good standing loses benefits of membership including vesting of cemetery rights..

Note: 2023/2024 Cemetery rights are not currently being included as part of new membership as we re-evaluate this policy. Existing members are grandfathered in along the same guidelines as before with regards to number of years to qualify (3 for Full, 2 for Charter) and the need to have continuous membership to stay in good standing.
